Tiles / Glass

Tiles / Glass

Best for glass/tile

Fragile surfaces need control, not brute force. Our Glass and Tile Drill Bits are purpose-built to drill cleanly into ceramic, porcelain, and glass - without cracking or slipping.

The spear-point tip gives a precise start, even on glossy or glazed surfaces. Just run slow, apply light pressure, and avoid hammer mode.

For everything from bathroom tiling to splashbacks and delicate glass, this is the bit to start with.

Need to Drill Through or Cut Larger Holes?

Some jobs require more than just a tile bit. Here’s when to use other types:

SDS PLUS

Fits rotary hammer drills with an SDS Plus chuck. The most common choice for fast, efficient drilling in brick, block, and general masonry.

SDS Max

For heavy-duty machines with an SDS Max chuck. Built to deliver high impact energy—ideal for large-diameter holes, deep drilling, structural concrete, and tougher masonry.

Masonry Drills

For combi and rotary drills with a 3-jaw chuck. Standard bits work well on brick. For harder stone, try our titanium-coated Extreme Masonry Bits with SDS-style flute for faster drilling. Ideal for light concrete, brick, block, and soft tiles. Avoid porcelain or glass. Drill slowly without hammer mode.

Diamond Core Drills

Use for larger holes - like waste pipes, fans, or cable runs. Best for tiles, panels, brick, and block, especially when used wet to reduce heat and cracking. Delivers smooth, accurate holes in dense or reinforced concrete with specialist core drilling machines. Check fitment for your chuck type.
